The 40 primarily selected players for the Asia Cup Hockey will report to federation official Mahbubul Ahasan Rana today (Friday) at 2:00pm at the Maulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium in Dhaka.
The camp is to begin on Saturday at the same venue.
The Asia Cup is scheduled to be played from October 14 to 22 in Dhaka and Bangladesh Hockey Federation (BHF) is trying to prepare the boys properly before the event. They are even planning to send the players abroad for further training.
Earlier, BHF General Secretary Abdus Sadek said that the players will participate in one session from 11:00pm to 2:00pm each day in the month of Ramadan.
Players from outside of Dhaka will stay at the residential camp while players from Dhaka will join the practice coming from home.
