Sheikh Russel National Wushu C’ship begins

Sheikh Russel 12th National Wushu Championship began on Tuesday at Sheikh Russel Roller Skating Complex in the city, organized by Bangladesh Washu Association.
State Minister for Textile and Jute Mirza Azam inaugurated the three-day meet as the chief guest.
Deputy Minister for Youth and Sports Arif Khan Joy was present as special guest while Managing Director of China Bangla Ceramics Industries Limited M Sirajul Islam Mollah, MP, was also present on the occasion.
Dr Abdus Soban Golap, special assistant of Prime Minister presided over the opening ceremony.
Near about 350 participants from 35 teams including 28 district sports associations and eight services teams are taking part in the meet.    �BSS
