Dilara Zaman in short film for Mother's Day

Dilara Zaman have appeared in a short film released on the YouTube channel of Bangla Dhol. Bangla Dhol has produced the film directed, written by Sadat Hossain. The film has been made in light of the coming Mother's Day. The ten minute long film is titled "Projotne." Dilara Zaman is the lone actor of the film. The film starts with Dilara calling after her housemaid, younger daughter-in-law, elder-daughter-in-law one by one. But no one answers. Muttering angrily about their continued ignorance she goes on to call upon her sons and grandchildren while lamenting her failing memories and deteriorating vigour. Helpless and grief stricken she finally lightens up hitting upon the idea that she might be able get her grandchild to talk by retelling the stories of her husband. As she goes on to unlock the attic containing old diaries viewers learn that she has always been musing in an Old Home.
Dilara Zaman, director Sadat and producer Enamul Haque appeared on Facebook live on May 8 discussing the rationale behind making the short film while stressing on the importance of elderly citizens and mothers in particular.
