Justice Syed Hussain's 31st death anniv today

Today (April 2) is the 31st death anniversary of Justice Syed Muhammad Hussain
Born in 1928, Justice Hussain was the eldest son of late Syed Tasodduque Hussain, the then District and Session Judge and Begum Asma Hossain.
Justice Hussain was an eminent Judge of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh who was removed under Martial Law in 1984. His bold role for the independence of judiciary, dedication for the cause of rule of law, democracy, human rights and his honesty and integrity and leamedjudgements made him famous in and outside the country.  He was chairman of the Bangladesh Chapter of International Law Association,
A~nesty International and International Commission of Jurists. He led several delegations to many International Conferences in Europe, Aisa and Africa. His publication includes a book titled' Banglar Katha'.
Justice Syed Muhammad Hussain is one of the pioneers of cultural movement in the country and was General Secretary of the Bulbul Academy of Fine Arts (BAF A) and Pakistan Arts Council.
