How Daniel Weber convinced Sunny Leone to marry him

Actor Sunny Leone once revealed how her relationship with husband Daniel Weber developed from a chance meeting in Las Vegas into marriage, crediting his persistence and support for winning her heart.

Speaking to Humans of Bombay, Sunny said they first met through one of Daniel's bandmates at a club in Las Vegas. Although Daniel claimed it was love at first sight, she initially had no romantic feelings for him.

Daniel later obtained her phone number and email address but chose to contact her through email. Their conversations gradually brought them closer, and he eventually asked her out on a date.

Sunny recalled that Daniel waited patiently when she arrived late for their first date. They talked for three hours, and she described the experience as a moment when she felt an instant connection.

She also said Daniel stood by her after her mother died, supporting both her and her family during a difficult period. His emotional support made her realise that he was the right person for her.

Daniel later proposed with a customised mahogany box that he had made. When Sunny became excited about the box, he surprised her by revealing another ring for her. She described the proposal as simple and quiet, just as she had wanted.

The couple married in 2011 and have three children — Nisha, Noah and Asher.
