Islami Bank organizes training workshop to prevent fraud

A training workshop titled “Training on Prevention of Fraud and Forgery at Agent Banking Outlets” was recently organized by the Cox’s Bazar Branch of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC in coordination with the Agent Banking Division, focusing on preventing fraud in agent banking, ensuring compliance and improving the quality of secure banking services.

Md Iqbal Mohasin, Director and Head of the Financial Inclusion Department (FID) of Bangladesh Bank attended the workshop as the Chief Guest. Md Ali Hossain, Additional Director (FID) of Bangladesh Bank, and Abul Laise Mohd. Khaled, Head of the Agent Banking Division of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC attended as Special Guests. Abdul Naser, Executive Vice President and Head of Chattogram South Zone of the Bank presided over the program. Mohammad Burhan Uddin Khan, Head of Cox’s Bazar Branch delivered the welcome speech.
