Promotional posters of Bollywood film Ramayana: Rise of a Legend displayed on streets and at cinema complexes in Saudi Arabia have sparked discussions on social media, drawing attention to the film's international promotional campaign.

According to Indian media reports, advance ticket sales have begun at several cinema complexes in Saudi Arabia ahead of the film's release. Posters featuring characters from the Hindu epic Ramayana have also reportedly appeared in public places.

The posters drew mixed reactions from social media users, with some questioning their public display in the predominantly Muslim country, while others viewed it as part of the growing international reach of Indian cinema.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, the two-part film stars Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Ram, Sai Pallavi as Sita and Yash as Ravana.

The film's promotional campaign has also attracted attention beyond India, including among members of the Hindu community in Karachi, Pakistan.
