Measles symptoms claim 3 more lives

Three more people died with measles-like symptoms in the country in the 24 hours till 8AM on Thursday (November 5), while 1,396 suspected and confirmed cases were reported, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).

Of the latest deaths, one was reported in Dhaka Division and two in Chattogram. Dhaka recorded the highest number of suspected cases at 527.

Since March 15, the cumulative death toll has reached 1,272, including 105 confirmed measles deaths and 1,167 deaths with measles-like symptoms.
