Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf on Thursday (November 5) urged US Vice President JD Vance to inform President Donald Trump about the political consequences of the US war on Iran, amid speculation over a possible fresh military offensive, according to Tasnim News Agency..
In a post on X, Qalibaf questioned Washington's approach, saying Trump was preparing for another phase of war while the United States faced growing political pressure.
Vance earlier said Republicans lost the midterm elections partly because of the Iran war and rising living costs, citing voter concerns over inflation, US foreign policy and relations with Israel.
