Two illegal brick kilns fined Tk 4 lakh in Naogaon

The district administration has fined two illegal brick kilns Tk 4 lakh in a mobile court drive in Porsha upazila of Naogaon.

Executive Magistrate Farzana Sultana conducted the drive on Wednesday afternoon.

The fined kilns are Messrs NSB Bricks in Paschim Raghunathpur and Messrs KBC Bricks in Nitpur of the upazila.

Farzana Sultana said the kiln authorities failed to produce valid documents authorising their operations. They were also found continuing reconstruction or renovation work without the required documentation.

Two cases were filed against the authorities of the kilns, and a total fine of Tk 4 lakh was imposed and collected, she added.
