Bus-leguna collision kills 4 in Dhaka

Four people were killed in a head-on collision between a bus and a human hauler in Mirpur Beribadh area of the capital on Wednesday morning.

The accident occurred around 7:30AM on Nawaberbagh Uttarpara area.

The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.

Talha Bin Jasim, an official of the Fire Service media department, confirmed the information in a text message.

The Fire Service said the accident took place in the Mirpur Beribadh area under Shah Ali Police Station. The bus involved in the collision belonged to Asian University.

The bodies were handed over to Shah Ali Police Station SI Ariful Islam and later sent to the morgue of Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College and Hospital for autopsies.
