BGB deploys 12 platoons in Gazipur, N'ganj

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) has deployed 12 platoons in Gazipur and Narayanganj amid labour unrest to maintain law and order.
The BGB said on Tuesday that 10 platoons are deployed in Shafipur, Kaliakair and Konabari in Gazipur, while two are stationed in Chashara, Narayanganj.
The force has also strengthened surveillance using drones and body-worn cameras, with live footage monitored from a central control cell at BGB Headquarters.
