Bollywood actress and dancer Nora Fatehi has once again come under the spotlight in connection with the Rs 200-crore money laundering and extortion case involving alleged conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar.

Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court has summoned Fatehi to appear on November 2 as a prosecution witness in the high-profile case.

Fatehi has previously faced extensive questioning by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Delhi Police over allegations that she received expensive gifts from Chandrashekhar, who is accused of orchestrating a massive financial fraud.

The latest development follows a handwritten letter allegedly written by Chandrashekhar that went viral on social media in August this year. In the letter, he made several claims about his relationship with the actress and the gifts he allegedly gave her.

Chandrashekhar claimed that he had given Fatehi several crores of rupees to purchase a house in Casablanca, Morocco. He also alleged that the gifts included expensive cosmetics, designer handbags, luxury cars and other high-value items.

He had also reportedly shared WhatsApp conversations between himself and the actress.

In the letter, Chandrashekhar further claimed that Fatehi repeatedly encouraged him to end his relationship with actress Jacqueline Fernandez, alleging that she was jealous of their relationship.

He also accused Fatehi of contacting him frequently by phone, sometimes around 10 times a day, and demanding large sums of money to support her luxurious lifestyle.

These allegations form part of Chandrashekhar's claims and have not been independently established.

Against this backdrop, the Rouse Avenue Court has directed Fatehi to appear on November 2 as a prosecution witness in the case.

The development has once again brought the actress's alleged links with Chandrashekhar's Rs 200-crore fraud case into public attention.
