Banks to remain closed on Nov 7

All scheduled banks in Bangladesh will remain closed on November 7 on the occasion of National Revolution and Solidarity Day.

Bangladesh Bank issued a circular letter on October 26 announcing the closure.

According to the circular, the government declared November 7 a public holiday in line with a notification issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on October 7.

As a result, all scheduled banks operating in the country will remain closed on the day.
