Keraniganj factory fire brought under control, one killed

One person was killed in a fire at Aman Plastic Factory in the Narikelbagh area of Keraniganj, on the outskirts of Dhaka, on Monday.

Fire Service Control Room Official Talha Bin Jasim  confirmed the death news.

Getting information, the firefighters reached the scene at 12:32PM. Five firefighting units initially responded to the incident, with three more units later joining the operation.

The fire has since been brought under control, and fire men recovered the body of one person from the site.

The cause of the fire and the extent of the damage were not immediately known.
