Clinic attacked, vandalized by gunmen in Khulna

Miscreants opened fire and vandalized the Sandhani Clinic in Khulna, triggering severe panic among patients, relatives, and staff members.

The incident took place around 9:45 PM on Saturday (October 24) on Babukhana Road under the Khulna Police Station area in the city. No casualties were reported.

According to eyewitnesses, 7 to 8 miscreants arrived on motorcycles, fired indiscriminately in front of the clinic, and then entered the premises to rampage through the reception area and the chamber of Professor Dr. Md. Qutubuddin Mollik before fleeing the scene.

The brazen shooting and vandalism at a vital healthcare institution have sparked deep concern among local residents.

Confirming the incident, Khulna Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Lokman Hossain stated that miscreants fired shots targeting the clinic from the road. While no casualties occurred, police have launched an investigation to identify and arrest those involved.
