Yash urges fans to watch ‘Ramayana’ with an open mind

Actor Yash has urged fans to watch the upcoming film 'Ramayana' with an open mind instead of focusing on minor flaws in its visual effects, as the film’s team steps up promotional activities ahead of its scheduled November 6 release.

Speaking at a promotional event in Hyderabad, Yash appealed to audiences to appreciate the effort behind the ambitious project, saying producer Namit Malhotra had put his reputation and money at stake to take the film to a global audience.

“Please don't try to find small faults of VFX, this, that. It will never happen again,” Yash said, warning that losing the support of filmmakers willing to undertake such projects could delay similar productions for years.

Yash plays Ravana in the film and is also co-producing it with Malhotra. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, 'Ramayana' is an ambitious adaptation of the Hindu epic and is scheduled to hit theatres on November 6.
