Dhaka weather to remain dry today

The sky over Dhaka and its adjoining areas may remain temporarily partly cloudy today, while the weather is likely to stay dry, according to the Bangladesh Meteorological Department.

The forecast, issued for six hours from 7:00am on Thursday, October 22, said winds may blow from the north-northwest at 10-15 kilometres per hour. Daytime temperatures may remain unchanged.

At 6:00am, the temperature in Dhaka was recorded at 26.7 degrees Celsius, with 79 per cent humidity. The minimum temperature today was 26.5 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature on Wednesday was 34.4 degrees Celsius.

Sunset in Dhaka today is expected at 5:27 PM, while sunrise tomorrow is at 5:59 AM.
