BAN bat first against AFG in crucial tri-series match

Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat first against Afghanistan in their crucial tri-series ODI match in Sharjah on Wednesday.

Following a defeat to Zimbabwe in their opening fixture, Bangladesh now face a tough equation to secure a spot in the tri-series final. On the other hand, Afghanistan enter the contest with high momentum after securing a convincing victory against the same opponents. Bangladesh captain Towhid Hridoy opted to set a target after luck favored him at the coin toss in this high-stakes encounter.
