Shama Obaed exchanges greetings at puja mandaps in Faridpur

State Minister for Foreign Affairs Shama Obaed Islam visited several puja mandaps in Nagarkanda and Saltha upazilas of Faridpur-2 for the third consecutive day on Tuesday to exchange festive greetings with members of the Hindu community.

During the visits, she also provided financial assistance to the puja committees from her personal funds.

Afzal Hossain Khan Palash, administrator of the Faridpur District Council, attended the visits as a special guest.

The visits were part of Shama Obaed’s ongoing outreach to Hindu communities in her constituency during the annual festival.
