Iran’s security chief Mohsen Rezaei has said the country will not allow any of its enriched nuclear material to leave its territory under any circumstances.

Rezaei made the remarks during a meeting with Pakistan’s army chief, Asim Munir, in Tehran, according to Iran’s semi-official Fars news agency, Al Jazeera reported.

He also said negotiations with the United States would not begin until Washington took confidence-building measures and met Iran’s latest conditions.

The remarks echoed those of Iran’s parliament speaker and chief negotiator, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, who also met with Munir on Tuesday.
