Saudi Arabia has issued red weather alerts for parts of four regions, warning of heavy thunderstorms, flash floods, hail and strong winds.
The National Centre for Meteorology (NCM) issued the alerts for parts of Jazan, Asir, Al-Baha and Makkah on Sunday (October 18), cautioning residents about potentially hazardous weather conditions.
The forecast warned that heavy rainfall could cause flash flooding, while strong winds could stir up dust and sand. Fog may also develop in some areas, including coastal parts of the Eastern Province.
Authorities have urged residents to exercise caution and follow Civil Defence instructions during severe weather.
