11 senior police officers transferred

Eleven senior police officers, including additional deputy commissioners and assistant superintendents of police, have been transferred and reassigned to different units and offices across Bangladesh, according to separate notifications issued by the Police Headquarters on Sunday (October 18).

The notifications were issued by the Personnel Management-1 branch of the Police Headquarters and signed by Inspector General of Police Ali Hossain Fakir.

The transferred officers have been instructed to hand over their current responsibilities by October 27 to join their new workplaces. Otherwise, they will be considered released from their existing posts with immediate effect from October 28, the notifications said.
