Moushumi gets US Green Card after 3yrs

Film actress Moushumi has obtained a US Green Card, paving the way for her permanent residence in the United States after spending nearly three years in the country.

The actress, who moved to the US around 2023, disclosed the news while attending an event on Saturday local time.

The announcement has sparked excitement among her fans, many of whom have taken to social media to congratulate the Dhallywood star.

Moushumi reportedly faced restrictions on travelling back and forth between Bangladesh and the United States while her Green Card process was underway. With the process now completed, she is expected to have greater flexibility to travel while maintaining her permanent resident status.

A Green Card grants eligible foreign nationals lawful permanent resident status in the United States. Holders may also become eligible to apply for US citizenship later, provided they meet the applicable residency requirements and other conditions under US immigration law.

Moushumi's Green Card marks a significant development in her life abroad, as she settles into permanent residency in the United States.
