Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan has announced the UNIFYD music festival in Abu Dhabi, featuring performances by Sonu Nigam, Arijit Singh and Karan Aujla on March 20, 2027.
The festival will take place at Etihad Live in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, with tickets set to go on sale soon. Organisers have urged interested fans to download the District app for updates on ticket availability.
Shah Rukh announced the festival on Friday through a promotional video in which he tries his hand at several musical instruments, including the keyboard, saxophone, drums, guitar and violin, before attempting to sing.
After his attempts prove unsuccessful, the actor leaves the performances to professional musicians. The video then features clips of Sonu Nigam, Arijit Singh and Karan Aujla performing at concerts.
The festival's official social media account described the event as a celebration bringing together some of India's biggest musical voices for a day of performances.
UNIFYD is curated by Shah Rukh, with D'YAVOL, the brand associated with his son Aryan Khan, among its brand partners. Shah Rukh's daughter Suhana Khan reacted to the promotional video with heart emojis, while Karan Aujla also expressed his excitement in the comments.
Sonu Nigam is known for his playback singing across Hindi cinema, while Karan Aujla has gained popularity for his Punjabi music and hip-hop releases. Arijit Singh, one of India's leading playback singers, announced his retirement from Bollywood playback singing in January 2026.
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh is filming King, directed by Siddharth Anand. The film features his daughter Suhana Khan alongside an ensemble cast that includes Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Jaideep Ahlawat, Jackie Shroff, Arshad Warsi, Rani Mukerji and Raghav Juyal. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on December 24.
