US planning to use ‘Mother of All Bombs’ in Iran: CNN

The United States is reportedly considering the use of the 'Mother of All Bombs in Iran, CNN reported on Thursday (October 15).

The weapon, officially known as the GBU-43/B Massive Ordnance Air Blast (MOAB), is the largest non-nuclear bomb in the US arsenal. Weighing around 9.8 tonnes, it is designed to cause massive destruction over a wide area.

According to the report, the bomb could be considered for potential strikes on Iranian infrastructure and nuclear-related sites. However, its use has not been officially confirmed, and the reported plans do not necessarily mean a final decision has been made.
