Indian singer Arijit Singh’s song ‘Phir Se’ from the film 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge' has been submitted for consideration at the 69th Grammy Awards in the Best Song Written for Visual Media category.

Arijit announced the development in an Instagram post, thanking fans for their support and appreciation. The song is part of the soundtrack composed by Shashwat Sachdev for the Ranveer Singh-starrer film.

The film’s music campaign, backed by T-Series and B62 Studios, includes several other tracks submitted for consideration in different Grammy categories.

‘Aari Aari’ has been submitted in the Best Asian Pop Music Performance category, while ‘Jaan Se Guzarte Hai’ and ‘Kanhaiyya’ are being considered for Best Global Music Performance.

Other entries include ‘Jaiye Sajana’ for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, ‘Destiny – Mann Atkeya’ for Best Rap Performance, ‘Vaari Jaavan’ for Best Dance/Electronic Recording and ‘Hum Pyaar Karne Wale’ for Best Remixed Recording.

However, submission for Grammy consideration does not mean an official nomination. The entries must go through the Recording Academy’s eligibility and voting process before the final nominees are announced.
