Ten flights from Dhaka to Riyadh have been suspended following the closure of operations at Saudi Arabia’s King Khalid International Airport, affecting 3,431 passengers.
According to the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh, the suspended flights include two operated by Biman Bangladesh Airlines and two by US-Bangla Airlines. Three flights each operated by Saudi Arabia’s Saudia Airlines and Riyadh Air have also been affected.
The suspension has disrupted flight operations between Dhaka and Riyadh, leaving thousands of passengers facing travel uncertainty and possible changes to their itineraries.
Passengers scheduled to travel on the affected flights have been advised to contact their respective airlines for the latest updates on flight status and revised schedules until operations at Riyadh airport return to normal.
The authorities have not provided a timeline for the resumption of normal airport operations.
