Samsung Electronics Bangladesh and Fair Electronics Ltd have relaunched a wide range of Samsung refrigerators in Bangladesh at the Samsung–Fair Electronics Partners Meet 2026, held at The Westin Dhaka.

The event brought together senior executives from Samsung and Fair Group, along with business partners from across the country, as the companies outlined plans to expand Samsung’s home-appliance business and strengthen its presence in Bangladesh.

The relaunched refrigerator portfolio includes six models with capacities ranging from 275 litres to 700 litres: RS72 (700L), RS74 (676L), RT47 (465L), RT37 (345L), RT34 (324L) and RT29 (275L).

The RT29, RT34 and RT37 top-mount freezer models are designed for everyday household use, while the larger RT47 offers greater storage capacity for bigger families.

At the premium end, the RS72 and RS74 side-by-side refrigerators feature Samsung’s SpaceMax™ Technology, which is designed to increase internal storage capacity without significantly increasing the appliances’ external dimensions.

Across the range, Samsung has combined advanced cooling technology, energy-efficient performance and contemporary design. The refrigerators feature Digital Inverter Technology and flexible storage configurations, while selected models offer Twin Cooling and 5-in-1 Convertible Mode, allowing consumers to adjust refrigerator and freezer space according to their needs.

The new range also places emphasis on aesthetics under the theme “The Classics are Back with Timeless Style.” Selected models are available in Pebble Blue, Black Inox and EZ Clean Steel finishes.

Fair Group Chairman Ruhul Alam Al Mahbub thanked business partners for their continued support and contribution to Samsung’s growth in Bangladesh.

He highlighted the long-standing partnership between Fair Electronics and Samsung and said the companies remained committed to providing internationally recognised products to Bangladeshi consumers. He also said the partnership had enabled Fair Electronics to bring the “Made in Bangladesh” proposition to consumers while maintaining Samsung’s international quality and manufacturing standards.

Samsung Electronics Bangladesh Managing Director Jungmin Jung said the company remained focused on innovation and committed to exploring the potential of the Bangladesh market.

He said Samsung was closely following changing consumer lifestyles and working to introduce products that combine performance, convenience, energy efficiency and modern design.

Jung also reaffirmed Samsung’s commitment to working with Fair Electronics and its nationwide partner network to further strengthen the brand’s presence in Bangladesh.

The event was attended by Mutassim Daiaan, Director and CEO of Fair Group; Shahriar Bin Lutfor, Director and Head of CE Business at Samsung; Mohammed Mesbah Uddin, Chief Marketing Officer of Fair Group; J M Taslim Kabir, Head of Marketing at Fair Group; and Moshiur Rahman, Head of Business at Fair Electronics, along with other senior officials and business partners.

The Partners Meet also served as a platform to showcase the relaunched refrigerator portfolio and discuss future business opportunities, market expansion and strategies to strengthen Samsung’s home-appliance footprint across Bangladesh.

Fair Electronics said it would continue working with Samsung to bring global technology, innovation and quality products to Bangladeshi consumers while contributing to the growth of the country’s locally manufactured consumer electronics sector.
