Ajay Devgn-starrer Drishyam: The Conclusion earned an estimated $6.1 million (around Rs 58 crore) from overseas markets during its opening weekend, marking the actor’s biggest international opening.
The film collected around $1.95 million (Rs 18.50 crore) internationally on Sunday, taking its three-day overseas total to $6.1 million, according to trade estimates cited by Pinkvilla.
Combined with an estimated Rs 208 crore gross from India, the film’s worldwide opening weekend collection stood at around Rs 266 crore.
Australia and Canada emerged as the strongest overseas markets, with the film grossing AUD 1.05 million and CAD 1.15 million respectively. The film also recorded strong openings in the United States, United Kingdom and United Arab Emirates.
The overseas breakdown included $1.675 million from the United States, $835,000 from Canada, $1.525 million from the Middle East, $735,000 from Australia and $610,000 from the United Kingdom.
The report said capacity constraints at several key overseas locations could help the film maintain strong collections during weekdays.
