11-hour power outage in Natore

Power supply will remain suspended for 11 hours in several areas of Natore’s Baraigram upazila on Saturday (October 3) for emergency maintenance of the Natore grid, resolving red-hot spots and cutting tree branches.

Natore Palli Bidyut Samity-2 announced the outage in a notice issued on Friday.

According to the notice, power supply through all feeders of Baraigram-1 (Banpara) and Baraigram-3 (Gormati) substations will remain suspended from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday.

Consumers in Banpara municipality, Joari, Majhgaon and Duyaria unions, and parts of Nagar, Gopalpur, Chandai and Duyari unions will be affected.

The utility said the schedule could change depending on the progress of the work. Power supply may also be restored at any time once the work is completed.
