Police seek help identifying rickshaw puller killed in stabbing

Police have sought public assistance to identify an unidentified rickshaw puller who was stabbed to death in the Gabtoli area of the capital’s Darus Salam.

The victim, believed to be around 20, was stabbed in the back by two unidentified men in front of Allah’r Dan Hotel in Gabtoli around 3:30 AM on Wednesday.

Police rescued him from the scene and took him to a hospital, where doctors declared him dead.

DMP Deputy Commissioner (Media and Public Relations) Md Akhtar Hossain said the victim’s identity has not yet been established.

Police have requested anyone with information about the victim’s identity to contact Darus Salam Police.
