55 officials to be appointed as senior assistant commissioners

Fifty-five officials from the Bangladesh Civil Service (Administration) cadre are set to be appointed as Senior Assistant Commissioners after being withdrawn from their posts as Assistant Commissioners (Land), or AC (Land).

The Ministry of Public Administration issued a notification in this regard on Monday night (September 28).

According to the notification, the 55 officials have been withdrawn from their posts as Assistant Commissioners (Land) and attached to the offices of divisional commissioners for their next postings.

The officials were serving as Assistant Commissioners (Land) in different upazilas across the country.

The respective divisional commissioners’ offices will now issue orders appointing them as Senior Assistant Commissioners
