3 professors appointed to Dhaka Central University syndicate

The government has nominated three members to the syndicate of Dhaka Central University for a two-year term.

The Education Ministry issued a notification on Monday (September 28) with the approval of the president and chancellor under the Dhaka Central University Act, 2026.

According to the notification, Dhaka University Marketing Department Professor Morshed Hasan Khan and Jahangirnagar University Pharmacy Department Professor Sohel Rana were nominated under the distinguished professor category.

Professor Nahrin Islam Khan of Jahangirnagar University’s Department of Geography and Environment was nominated under the eminent person category.

Copies of the notification were sent to the university’s vice-chancellor and registrar for necessary action.
