Man’s body recovered from pond bank in Narail

Police recovered the body of a 46-year-old man from an abandoned pond bank in Daljitpur village of Narail Sadar upazila on Saturday morning.

The deceased was identified as Usman Gani, son of late Abdur Rahman of the village.

Locals spotted the body behind a house around 6:10 AM and informed police. Police recovered the body and sent it to Narail District Hospital morgue for autopsy.

Police said an investigation is underway to determine the cause of death.
