Volker Türk meets PM Tarique Rahman in New York

United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights Volker Türk paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Tarique Rahman**, who is in New York to attend the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

The meeting was held at the hotel where the Prime Minister is staying, his Assistant Press Secretary A.K.M. Nazmul Haque said.

“Various issues of mutual interest were discussed during the meeting,” he said.
