PM meets Shehbaz Sharif at UNGA

Prime Minister Tarique Rahman met his Pakistani counterpart Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Thursday (September 24) on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The bilateral meeting was part of Tarique Rahman’s series of high-level engagements during his five-day visit to New York for the UNGA session.
The two leaders discussed issues of mutual interest and matters concerning Bangladesh-Pakistan relations, according to officials familiar with the meeting.
Tarique Rahman is attending the UNGA for the first time as prime minister and is scheduled to address the General Debate later on Thursday.
