Dr Zubaida Rahman, wife of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman, held a courtesy meeting with US First Lady Melania Trump on the sidelines of the 81st UN General Assembly in New York on Tuesday.

Dr Zubaida attended the event at The St. Regis New York in Manhattan following an invitation from the US First Lady.

The high-level gathering was organized by the White House under Melania Trump's global initiative, "Fostering the Future Together." First spouses and leading delegates from various nations participated in the session.

Discussions at the event focused on advancing children's education, technology access, digital skills, artificial intelligence, and online child safety.
