New DCPs appointed to DMP’s Mirpur, Lalbagh divisions

Two new officers have been appointed as deputy commissioners of police (DCPs) in the Mirpur and Lalbagh divisions of Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).

The appointments were announced in an office order signed by DMP Commissioner Mosleh Uddin Ahmed on Monday.

According to the order, DMP DCP Hasan Mohammad Naser Rikabdar has been appointed as DCP of the Mirpur division. He was previously serving as a DCP at the DMP.

Meanwhile, Mirpur division DCP Md Mostak Sarker has been appointed as DCP of the Lalbagh division.

The appointments have been made in the public interest and will remain effective until further notice, according to the order.

Copies of the office order have been sent to the relevant offices for information and necessary action.
