Why Nora Fatehi agreed to join Bigg Boss

Bollywood actress Nora Fatehi initially turned down an offer to join the reality show ‘Bigg Boss’ because she was not interested in reality television. However, she later changed her mind, and the show became a turning point in her career.

Speaking on a podcast recently, Nora recalled the difficult period when she received the offer to join ‘Bigg Boss 9’.

She said she had been facing payment problems after working on several song projects. She did not receive payments on time for some of the work, leading to disputes with producers.

It was during this period that she received the ‘Bigg Boss’ offer. Nora said the amount offered by the show’s organisers made her reconsider her decision.

She realised that turning down the offer could be a major mistake, as the substantial remuneration played a key role in changing her mind.

Nora also viewed the show as an important opportunity to build recognition among Indian audiences. She entered the house as a wildcard contestant and knew she might not stay for long.

She therefore decided to make the most of the opportunity and use the show as a platform to open new doors in the entertainment industry.

Her strategy eventually paid off, with ‘Bigg Boss 9’ becoming an important step in her career.
