Former Salman Khan co-star Pooja Dadwal now runs food business

Pooja Dadwal, who once made her Bollywood debut opposite Salman Khan, is now running a home-based food business after staying away from acting for several years.

She made her film debut in the 1995 movie Veergati, acting opposite Salman Khan at the age of 17. She later appeared in a few films and TV shows, including Aashiqui and Gharana.

After marriage, Pooja moved to Goa and started working at a casino. Her life took a difficult turn in 2018 when she was diagnosed with tuberculosis and developed serious lung problems.

Facing financial difficulties, Pooja returned to Mumbai for treatment. She later shared her situation on social media, which came to Salman Khan’s attention. He reportedly helped cover her medical expenses for several months. Actor Ravi Kishan also reportedly supported her during the difficult period.

After recovering, Pooja tried to return to acting and appeared in a film in 2020. However, she could not make a major comeback in Bollywood.
