The ‘Fall 2026 Admission Fair’ has begun at Northern University Bangladesh (NUB), offering admission-seeking students scholarships, tuition fee waivers and other facilities.
NUB Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Md Mizanur Rahman inaugurated the fair, organised by the university’s Admission and Information Department (AID), at noon on Thursday (September 10).
“Northern University is always committed to ensuring academic excellence and fulfilling students’ aspirations for higher education,” Prof Dr Md Mizanur Rahman said in his inaugural speech.
“The main objective of this fair is to offer merit-based waivers and scholarships to encourage students. We are also providing various facilities, including educational materials, and this will continue in the future,” he added.
The fair, which began on September 10, will continue until September 20.
As part of the event, special tuition fee waivers, scholarships and attractive gifts are being offered to prospective students. They can also receive counselling and detailed information about academic programmes, admission procedures and course fees by visiting the fair in person.
Md Mahmudul Hasan, in-charge of the university’s Admission and Information Department, coordinated the overall arrangements for the fair.
