Suspended Ansar member killed in Tangail attack

A suspended Ansar member was stabbed to death by unknown assailants in Tangail district’s Basail upazila on Tuesday night.
The dead has been identified as Hanif Khan, 37, son of late Bir Muktijuddha Baktar Ali Khan of Uttarpara village under Habla union.
ASi Md Atikur Rahman, in-charge of the Tangail Medical College Hospital police box, said that Hanif Khan was rushed to the hospital in a critical state, and later declared dead by the duty-doctors.
The dead has been identified as Hanif Khan, 37, son of late Bir Muktijuddha Baktar Ali Khan of Uttarpara village under Habla union.
According to the police and local sources, Hanif Khan was attacked by unknown assailants, equipped with lethal weapons, while he was returning home from Bilpara Bazar around 9PM.
Then Hanif was rescued in a critical state by the locals and taken to Tangail Medical College Hospital where he was declared dead by doctors.
ASi Md Atikur Rahman, in-charge of the Tangail Medical College Hospital police box, said that Hanif Khan was rushed to the hospital in a critical state, and later declared dead by the duty-doctors.
The body was taken to the hospital morgue.
