Srijit Mukherji hints at loneliness amid Mithila breakup rumors

Filmmaker Srijit Mukherji has sparked fresh speculation about his marriage to Bangladeshi actress Raffath Rashid Mithila after reflecting on loneliness and permanent relationships in a recent podcast.

The couple, who tied the knot on 6 December 2019, have not been seen together publicly for a considerable period, fueling recurring separation rumors. Speaking on the podcast 'Straight Up with Shree', Srijit admitted to feeling lonely at times when asked about lacking a permanent relationship, though he did not mention Mithila directly.

He noted that work, music, cricket, and friends keep him occupied despite these feelings. Srijit also addressed past rumors involving Kolkata actress Susmita Chatterjee, explaining that while they were extremely close, people enter and leave one's life like passengers on a train journey.

Mithila was previously married to singer-actor Tahsan Rahman Khan from 2006 to 2017. Neither Srijit nor Mithila has officially confirmed any change in their marital status.
