Israel's National Security Council (NSC) has advised its citizens to avoid traveling to Bangladesh, classifying the nation as a high-risk destination, according to a report by The Jerusalem Post.

The alert was issued as part of a global terror threat warning ahead of the Jewish High Holy Days. The NSC stated that anti-Israel rhetoric and incitement linked to ongoing regional conflicts have heightened the risk of attacks targeting Israelis and Jews worldwide.

Along with Bangladesh, the council listed Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Libya, and Algeria as high-risk countries that citizens should avoid visiting. The warning highlights growing security concerns over potential actions by militant groups and lone-wolf attackers.

The advisory placed several other nations, including Egypt, Jordan, Qatar, and Somaliland, under severe Level 4 travel warnings. Travelers are urged to avoid these areas entirely and refrain from leaving airport terminals during layovers. Under Israeli law, direct travel to countries like Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, and Iran remains illegal.
