Reward offered for information on lost government weapons

The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) has been assigned as the lead coordinating agency for a special joint nationwide operation to recover lost government weapons.

RAB announced the decision in a text message sent from its headquarters on Tuesday.

According to the message, people can provide information about lost government weapons confidentially and receive rewards. RAB sought cooperation from everyone, including media professionals, in providing accurate information to help recover the weapons.

Information can be provided through RAB hotlines at 01777711441, 01777711442, 01777711443, 01777711444 and 0255669999.

Information can also be shared through IMO, WhatsApp, Telegram and Viber using these numbers.

RAB said the identities of informants would be kept confidential and that they could provide information safely.
