Italy offers legal entry routes for 12,000 Bangladeshis annually: State Minister

Around 12,000 Bangladeshi citizens, including family members, will have opportunities to travel to Italy through legal channels each year, said State Minister for Local Government Mir Shah Alam on Monday.
He made the remarks after a meeting with Italian Ambassador Antonio Alessandro at the Secretariat.
''We have requested Italy’s cooperation in providing third-language education and vocational training for people interested in travelling to Italy.''
Mir Shah Alam urged prospective migrants to avoid brokers and unauthorised routes, stressing the importance of using legal channels to pursue opportunities in Italy.
