Worker bus overturns in Gazipur, 15 injured

A factory bus that overturned while losing its control in Kaliakair, Gazipur, on Monday morning has caused injuries to 15 workers including females.

The accident happened around 8:30 AM in the Kutubdia region on the Mawna-Kaliakair local highway. The injured workers were rescued by locals who took them to Kaliakair Upazila Health Complex.

It is reported by eyewitnesses that GMS Textile bus overturned while transporting workers from different stations in Mediashulai to the factory premises in Kutubdia.

The officials at the hospital mentioned that treatment is being provided to the injured workers and some have been shifted elsewhere for further treatment.

The police informed that they paid a visit to the accident spot and started the investigation process. Legal action will be taken against the guilty party.
