One held with 88 bottles of liquor in Jamalpur

A man was apprehended by police with 88 bottles of Indian liquor in Dewanganj, Jamalpur, on Tuesday night (September 1).

Abdul Malek, 50, was the arrested man. He was picked up by the police around 10:30 PM with the help of secret information provided.

The police discovered the liquor hidden under water plants near the highway behind his shop.

Of the total 88 bottles, 33 were Black White, 23 whisky, 20 yuski, and 12 vodka bottles.

Police said legal action against the arrested man in underway.
