Rampura killings: Testimony deferred to Sept 16

The International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) has deferred the testimony of BGB officer Lt Col Redwanul Islam and three others to September 16 in a crimes against humanity case related to the July mass uprising of 2024.

A single bench of the ICT-1, led by Justice Mohitul Haque Enam Chowdhury, fixed the date on Wednesday following a time petition by the prosecution. 

Prosecutor Tasmirul Islam said, ''As the witness did not appear, time plea was submitted.''
